GS Global Resources Acquires ADC Custom Products

OEMs seeking-speed-to-market led to the acquisition by systems integrator

GS Global Resources announces its acquisition of ADC Custom Products, a leader in roll-over (ROPS) and falling-object protective structures (FOPS) for machine operators. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of GS Global Resources, the renamed acquired company is ADC Equipment Innovations. Operations will remain in Weston, WI.

For 40 years, the world’s most recognizable industrial and mobile OEMs have trusted GS Global Resources for continuous technology and innovation transfer at the intersection of fluid power and electronic control.

“We’ve always delivered pragmatic system and component design, innovative and reliable technologies, as well as production and market support through a single point of engineering accountability,” GS Global Resources President John Thornton says. “Now ADC Equipment Innovations makes interacting with us even easier for customers.”

ADC Equipment Innovations adds to GS Global Resources reputation for development cycle and production line efficiency. As OEMs seek fewer suppliers, GS Global Resources provides customers a flexible product lineup ranging from engineered components to fully-integrated, scalable, plug-and-play systems.

Renowned for delivering speed-to-market, improved safety, productivity, predictability and profitability, GS Global Resources produces fully-integrated, fully-tested, configurable cabs with electronics and hydraulics from a single supplier.

“Acquiring this highly-specialized technical knowledge of designing and building structures to protect machine operators reduces cost, decreases engineering effort and time, and streamlines manufacturing processes for OEMs,” Thornton adds

“This acquisition evolves our market position to ensure we remain the foremost in machine performance,” Thornton adds. “It allows us to deliver fully-integrated cabs that perform for the life of the machine, and for the lives of the people who touch it.”
