Sitrex Spa

Sitrex company was started by Mr.Giovanni Signorelli, who is founder and president, in 1970, with the production of ggricultural machinery. 

The small business operation from the early 70s expanded and exported products to European countries first, and then to the U.S., Canada, Australia.

The company specialized in hay-equipment and export is 99% of today's production. Products are exported to more than 60 countries.

The headquarters of the company are in Trestina (Perugia) Italy where SITREX owns three large and modern plants with high technology machinery for accurate production and high quality standards. The flexible production system utilizes welding and assembling robots and both liquid and powder painting.

Today, Sitrex employs 100 people and 40 sub-contractors for a total of 200 workers.

Sitrex USA, Inc. is the U.S. corporate base with two warehousing facilities, one located in Houston, TX, and one in Omaha, NE, for distribution of whole-goods and spare-parts in North America. Sitrex has been very innovative in the haying machinery industry and today is among the top quality Italian manufacturers dominating the North American market.

The line of machines include machines from grass cutting to harvesting, raking and baling. This full line of equipment is much appreciated by the distribution network.

In addition to Sitrex's full line of hay-equipment, the company has diversified into finishing mowers and various implements for turf and lawn-care.
