The 8th TIM plugfest will be held on September 19-20 during the European edition of the AEF Plugfest, at the Savoia Hotel Regency, Bologna, Italy. The AEF plugfests take place twice a year, once in the USA in May and once in the September/October time frame in Europe, whilst the TIM plugfests have been taking place on a much more frequent basis to prove out the concepts detailed in the AEF Guideline 023 "ISOBUS Automation Principles."
The sixth TIM plugfest was held in May in Kaiserslautern and the seventh was held in June in Stuttgart. The AEF Conformance Test and the AEF ISOBUS Database will be ready to show TIM certified products by early 2019.
In addition, during the AEF Plugfest, the 10th anniversary of the AEF will be celebrated on September 19 with an interesting afternoon event looking at the past, the present and the future of the AEF followed by a celebration dinner.
Apart from the testing activities during the AEF Plugfest, other events scheduled during that week include the AEF General Assembly and a number of AEF Project team face-to-face meetings.
