WABCO Holdings Inc.'s OnGuardPLUS collision-avoidance assistance technology, which builds on WABCO’s OnGuard collision mitigation system (CMS), is an advanced emergency braking system (AEBS) that provides greater levels of vehicle safety and driver effectiveness.

• Uses forward-looking radar to monitor traffic ahead
• Reduces risk of colliding with moving vehicles and decelerating vehicles ahead that come to a standstill
• Fully applies brakes in imminent collision situations
• Provides driver with acoustic, visual and haptic warnings
• Autonomously initiates emergency braking, enables maximum possible deceleration and can bring vehicle to a complete stop
• In event of stationary vehicles ahead such as when approaching traffic congestion, system warns driver and autonomously applies partial braking
