MicroAutoBox Embedded PC

dSPACE introduces its MicroAutoBox Embedded PC, an optional extension for the MicroAutoBox compact prototyping system that is tailored to the needs of current development trends. The Embedded PC provides an Intel Atom processor (1.6 GHz), 2 GB RAM, a 2.5 in. SATA hard or solid state disk drive and numerous interfaces for new application options.

• Runs applications such as telematics, digital road maps and camera-based object detection
• Integrated Gigabit Ethernet switch guarantees host PC can address real-time prototyping unit and Embedded PC with same Ethernet cable
• Offers permanent installation of input voltage range, sleep-mode current consumption and overvoltage protection 
• Modular concept allows other embedded PC processors to be used as alternatives to the Intel Atom processor
• Front panel provides three Gigabit Ethernet connectors, four USB 2.0 interfaces and DVI-I output for transmitting video data
• USB interfaces and DVI-I can be used to connect a touch panel
• Internal PCIe MiniCard slot and ExpressCard slot enable integration of WLAN, mobile communications or FireWire
• Applications include developing advanced driver assistance, infotainment, telematics and image processing systems
