Located in a forest setting 15 kms from the city of Mount Gambier, AUSTimber 2012 is set to be the largest forestry and timber expo in the southern hemisphere.
Live demonstrations as well as indoor and outdoor displays will provide attendees with the chance to see the latest forestry equipment and technology.
The conference portion of the event will take place March 29. Australian and international experts will discuss the latest issues facing the industry. Precision Forestry is the theme for this year's conference.
Last held in 2008, AUSTimber saw 8,000 visitors, 140 indoor exhibitors and 60 outdoor displays. The 2012 event looks see similar numbers, if not more.
