XCMG, a large equipment manufacturer in China, is said to have taken out a stake in the Germany-based company Schwing.
XCMG, a large Chinese equipment manufacturer, is reported to have taken an interest in investing in the Germany-based company Schwing.
Industry analysts say XCMG's interest in obtaining a stake in Schwing will help XCMG compete globally. Being associated with an established company also helps to deter some of the stigma many Chinese manufacturers have faced about the supposed poor quality of their products.
