ICUEE 2013 Hits One Million Mark for Amount of Exhibit Space Sold

Still a year away, ICUEE 2013 has already sold one million square feet of exhibit space.

With a record pace of exhibit space sales, ICUEE 2013 has already topped one million net square feet of exhibit space sold with the show still about a year away. The last ICUEE didn’t reach that mark until five months pre-show.

The biennial ICUEE also was recently ranked #3 among all trade shows in North America for 2011, in the annual Gold 100 ranking of exhibit space size by Trade Show Executive magazine.

“Attendees highly rate the show’s exhibits, demos and education, but they also tell us an invaluable benefit of ICUEE is the opportunity to get recharged and re-energized: meet with their industry peers face-to-face and see what’s new,” states Show Director Sara Truesdale Mooney.

The 2013 ICUEE, International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition will be held October 1 to 3, 2013 at the Kentucky Exposition Center (KEC) in Louisville, KY.

The show is attracting new exhibitors, and many returning exhibitors are taking more space, to showcase their newest product innovations. ICUEE is known for its numerous hands-on equipment demonstrations, where attendees can "test-drive" underground, at-ground and aerial equipment in job-like conditions. And robust industry-focused education programs complement the outdoor and indoor exhibits.

“Exhibitors say ICUEE is a high-quality show that benefits their companies,” Mooney states. Some 93% of exhibitors at the last show said they were satisfied to very satisfied with their ICUEE experience.

Attendees come to ICUEE in a buying mode: 78% at the last show played a role in purchasing equipment for their companies, a number above the industry average; 72% said they planned to buy products or services as a result of attending ICUEE, nearly double the industry average; and 77% said they would not have made the same purchase decision if they did not attend ICUEE.
