CEMA announces that Danish Agro Industry (DAI) has decided to join CEMA as an associated member. As a specific sector group operating under the umbrella of the Danish Agriculture and Food Council, DAI brings together the Danish farming, food and agricultural machinery industries. Within DAI, the manufacturers of agricultural machinery and farm mechanization represent 95 companies. Together, they employ around 7,000 people directly and have an aggregate annual turnover of DKK 15 billion (EUR 2 billion), with an average export share of around 65%.

CEMA Secretary General Ulrich Adam says, “We warmly welcome DAI in the CEMA network. As the common platform for the agricultural machinery industry in Europe, CEMA needs and benefits from a broad and dynamic membership. DAI’s entry will help to strengthen CEMA’s role and position as the voice of the agricultural machinery in Europe.”

Allan Pedersen, Managing Director of Danish Agro Industry at the Danish Agriculture and Food Council says, “We look forward to supporting and getting involved in CEMA’s activities, and we hope and believe that DAI’s perspective and experience will be a valuable contribution to CEMA and its members in the future.”
