Topcon Positioning Systems (TPS) will present an array of new machine control technologies, positioning tools and total stations at the World of Concrete trade show January 24 to 27, in Las Vegas.

The latest technologies in precision machine control for graders, dozers and excavators, a new line of lasers, plus two new standard-setting series of total stations will be on exhibit in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center (Booth C5070).

Topcon is using one of the world’s largest annual construction trade shows to announce new technologies and product lines that “will set higher standards inside the construction and survey industries with products containing features, benefits and technologies never before available,” according to Mark Contino, vice president for product marketing.

Featured at the Topcon booth will be the newest addition to machine control technology – the X-22 wireless excavator control system.

Murray Lodge, vice president of construction sales, says, “The X-22 addition to Topcon's machine control lineup uses wireless tilt sensor technology. With this precise positioning system, any operator can dig quicker, safer and more accurately than ever before.”

One of the main draws for Topcon’s booth will be the new, affordable series of laser and alignment tools – 2LS (tools) – that bridge the gap between do-it-yourself lasers and industrial quality lasers and levels and surveying instruments used on large construction projects.

Lodge says, “The 2LS products are high quality positioning tools ideally suited for home building, remodelers, concrete formers, mechanical contractors and drywall and ceiling installers.” The 2LS series features multi-purpose laser, digital and auto levels and multi-line levels.

Topcon products to be unveiled at World of Concrete are designed “to present a rapid return-on-investment, plus additional ground-breaking features that will be announced at the show,” Lodge says.
