WABCO Holdings Inc., a global technology leader and tier-one supplier to the commercial vehicle industry, announces that WABCO won top supplier awards in China from eight leading commercial vehicle manufacturers for the company’s superlative performance during 2011. This record achievement is recognition by eight major Chinese customers that honored WABCO with 11 awards for excellence, innovation and quality.
WABCO in China has recently received the “Developer of the Year” technology innovation award from Yutong Bus, the world’s largest bus manufacturer, and the “Best Quality” award from Higer Bus, the second largest bus builder in China. In addition, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group’s Jinan Commercial Vehicle division and CNHTC Power business unit honored WABCO with their “2011 Excellent Supplier” award respectively.
As previously disclosed, WABCO in China was recently honored with top 2011 supplier awards from Baotou Bei Ben Heavy Duty Truck; Beiqi Foton Motor; C&C Trucks; China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, and Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle. WABCO in China also won top quality awards from Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor and China FAW Group.
