The new Version 3.4 of dSPACE's production code generator TargetLink provides extensive new features for modular software design and supports the latest AUTOSAR versions. Moreover, TargetLink also interfaces with dSPACE’s VEOS simulation platform and dSPACE’s SYNECT data management software to produce a development environment that is more powerful than ever.
For component-based software development, TargetLink 3.4 has a new interface concept that enables users to reuse code and models in different projects without any modifications. TargetLink supports the latest AUTOSAR versions 4.0.3 and 3.2.2, and automatically takes care of most AUTOSAR details for users by generating an updateable AUTOSAR frame model.
For convenient management of the large data volumes involved in model-based development, TargetLink 3.4 not only boasts powerful diff and merge functionality in the Data Dictionary, but also a connection to the SYNECT data management and collaboration software. Thus, signals and parameters can be specified with the aid of SYNECT's built-in version control and multi-user support features, and synchronized with the TargetLink Data Dictionary. For integration with dSPACE's offline simulator VEOS, TargetLink 3.4 generates virtual ECUs that can be executed directly on VEOS for early testing and verification with ControlDesk Next Generation. Extended modeling features, combined with customer-specific code and considerable code efficiency enhancements, round off this new TargetLink release.
