Roll-iT from Stabroek, Belgium is a co-partnership of Aertssen Kranen (Aertssen Group) and Ivens Transport & Kraanbedrijf (Ivens Group), two solid players in the construction, transport and crane rental sectors. The company has been steadily acquiring more self-propelled modular transporter (SPMT) axle lines since 2007, and business is continuing to boom.

“Last week was the busiest week since our start with SPMTs. For three of the five days, we had 168 axles on the move, of which 104 where rented to various parties. The standardization of the SCHEUERLE SPMT gives us the flexibility to react to the increasing demand that we are currently facing,” says Tom van Runckelen, Account and Project Manager at Roll iT.

“Roll-iT is a perfect example for what happens when entrepreneurialism, expertise and the right equipment are combined strategically,” adds Bernd Schwengsbier, Managing Director of TII Sales. The Roll-iT success story continues as the company continuously expands its possibilities to offer its customers the capability to handle bigger, more challenging and bulkier loads, even when space is at a premium: Roll-iT has just ordered 24 axle lines of SCHEUERLE SPMT Split, a SPMT version that can be divided in half to form 3-file combinations for accommodating transportation routes with restricted space conditions.

Background information: Cost-effective through technological superiority – the SCHEUERLE SPMT
Robust, easy to couple, technically advanced: SPMTs from SCHEUERLE not only make a good impression during transport operations but also stand out due to their economic efficiency in use. This is ensured by the ability to freely combine vehicles of all generations as well as the coupling constellations, container flatrack loadability due to compact vehicle dimensions along with unmatched robustness. When taking into consideration the "Total Cost of Ownership" over the entire lifetime of a SCHEUERLE SPMT, all competitors are left far behind. This is also reflected by its wide-spread distribution - worldwide, specialist transportation companies rely on the SCHEUERLE SPMT. The use of SCHEUERLE modular transporters in combination with the control technology developed by SCHEUERLE maximize vehicle mobility and manoeuvrability as well as allowing precision positioning of extremely heavy loads. The individual modular transporters can be coupled together as required, and can also be mechanically coupled or arranged in a loose coupling mode on an area of 1,000 m x 1,000 m. SCHEUERLE control technology guarantees the synchronous control of all transporter units integrated in the vehicle group.
