CLAAS of America Inc. launched a new telematics website at the Farm Progress Show that features a sophisticated design and an intuitive user interface. Users can now access detailed information from their individual EASY (Efficient Agriculture Systems) applications faster than ever before. Upon logging into the website, the user will experience a new dashboard that will give them an instant overview of their in-field operations. The dashboard highlights machine location and status, current alarm messages, field work summaries and operation optimization, as well as, performance data sets for yield, moisture, throughput, working hours and acres covered.

TELEMATICS users are also able to view the data on the go. CLAAS has developed an app that runs on smartphones and tablets with an iOS or Android operating system. Simple and user friendly, the TELEMATICS mobile app delivers the most recent data from the machine with logical click-through functionality.

The new offering also includes CLAAS Diagnostic System Remote, a service that allows the CLAAS dealer to remotely connect to the machine to diagnose issues. Bob Armstrong, Vice President Product and Marketing, says, “The launch of the new CLAAS TELEMATICS website and app for the LEXION, JAGUAR and XERION product lines are great online tools for farmers to use when managing their operations. It gives producers better connectivity to their equipment and their dealership for service. With the continued dispersion of broadband networks in rural areas and smart devices increasingly being utilized on the farm, telemetry is a natural fit to capitalize on that type of technological environment to benefit the farmer.”
