Topcon Precision Agriculture (TPA) announces Horizon software for the X Family of touchscreen consoles. The software has been developed to provide an easy-to-use interface that is consistent across Topcon precision farming solutions.
"Offering intuitive ease-of-use and user defined views, Horizon software allows operators to move from one console to another and still experience the same views and buttons," says Harlan Little, TPA Product Planning Manager. "This allows a farm operation or custom application business to have all of their employees capable of operating any of their Topcon X Family consoles. In addition to a common user experience, Topcon Horizon software allows for a modular design that enables the entire Topcon X Family of precision ag consoles."
The modular approach allows customers to initially select what they value most across the X Family of consoles: X30, X25, X14. Little says, "It is as easy as deciding on what size color touch screen is desired and then choosing the optional features needed. Future demands can be as easily accommodated by simply unlocking additional features.
