With powerful Deutz engines, tried and tested Powershift transmissions and an instantly recognizable design with clean, bold lines, the 6 Series sets the standards for others to follow. This series is now even more advanced than ever, with the CShift semi-automatic shift system for models with the T7200 transmission.
The CShift lets the driver select between the 6 available ranges simply from the joystick without pressing the clutch pedal or shifting with a conventional lever. To change the range (from 1 to 6) all users have to do is push or pull the joystick while pressing the consent button on the back at the same time. New 6 Series tractors with CShift technology are extremely simple to operate, shifting from one range to another in under 0.5 seconds. All transmission parameters are visible on the display on the cab's A-pillar: preset gear, engaged gear, Powershift speed (LMHS), forward and reverse direction. The number “0” on the display indicates that the transmission is in neutral. Also, with Automatic Powershift, the driving comfort is further increased; the electronic control unit, aids the driver in selecting and automatically changing the gear to an optimum Powershift to reflect the current load and engine speed.
The introduction of CShift technology in the DEUTZ-FAHR 6 Series represents yet another step forward for a range that already leads the market in terms of model choice and technology created to improve productivity.
