Power management company Eaton has announced that the company’s manufacturing facility in Jining, China, received the Excellent Supplier Award from Heli, China’s number one forklift manufacturer, during Heli’s recent supplier conference. Eaton provides BZZ/XCEL 45 steering units for Heli’s 3.5 ton (T), 5T and 10T forklifts, providing reliable steering in a variety of sizes and options that matches the performance requirements of the machine.
“The Eaton sales team’s early engagement in Heli’s new platforms, and the Jining plant’s local design, manufacturing and service capabilities, were key factors in being named an excellent supplier,” says Edwin Gong, Business Manager, Greater China Fluid Conveyance Products and South China Mobile, Hydraulics, Eaton. “This award strengthens Eaton’s position as a key local steering player among top forklift equipment manufacturers.”
Eaton was one of only five suppliers – out of 300 – and the only multinational company to receive this award, which was presented by Heli Chairman Zhang Dejing during the Heli Supplier Conference.
As the main steering supplier for Heli, Eaton’s Jining facility, which was opened in 1994, is steadfastly focused on providing top quality customer service. As a result, the team has driven improvements, including world-class on-time delivery and high quality milestones.
