CASE Construction Equipment introduces the new SV340 skid steer – the company’s most powerful skid steer ever built. Rated at 3,400 lbs. operating capacity and featuring a bucket breakout force of 9,531 lbs., the new vertical-lift skid steer continues the CASE tradition of building powerful operating capacities into a platform that is easy to use for operators in all industries.

The SV340 provides extra power and performance, along with a stronger lift arm, H-link and upper chassis. The machine also offers optional high-flow (38.7 gpm at 3,450 psi) and enhanced high-flow (35 gpm at 4,000 psi) auxiliary hydraulics for excellent power and attachment versatility. Additional enhancements have also been made to manifold valves, the gear pump and the auxiliary loader circuit to allow for added power and performance.

The added operating performance – along with new heavy-duty 14 x 17.5 tires and additional counterweights – makes the SV340 the ideal operating platform for more advanced attachments such as cold planers, tree spades and stump grinders. The skid steer is compatible with more than 250 attachments, including the new CASE sectional snow pushes, buckets, forks, brooms, rakes and more.

A 90 hp FPT engine with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology powers the new skid steer. SCR eliminates the need for a diesel particulate filter (DPF), and the associated downtime of other systems that require regeneration. It also allows the engine to run cooler and with greater fuel efficiency as fuel is not used to burn off collected particulate.

The SV340 features EZ-EH (electro-hydraulic) controls that provide nine adjustable speed and control sensitivity settings that can be adjusted on the fly. This allows the operator to quickly switch between personalized settings for speed and control, and to tailor machine performance to the application. A single rocker switch allows operators to switch between the CASE “H” operating pattern and ISO pattern controls for jobsites where numerous operators with different operating preferences are working. The skid steer also features push-button Ride Control, which cushions loader arm movement for a smoother ride and greater material retention.

The SV340 offers one of the widest cabs in the industry and the lowest entry threshold for easy access and greater visibility down to the bucket/attachment. The cab-forward design combines with ultra-narrow wire side screens to provide best-in-class 360-degree visibility and excellent site lines down to the bucket edge/curb lines. A large, rounded rear window delivers excellent rear visibility. Standard heavy-duty front and side lights, along with a skylight, further improve all-around visibility. The machine also features an optional radio and upgraded climate controls for optimal comfort.

The SV340’s routine service points are all located at the rear of the machine. Operators can quickly access the engine, filters, fill points, and all other service points through a single point of access. The skid steer also offers CASE’s famous easy-tilt cab for convenient access to the drivetrain compartment.
