Lund Precision Products' BrazeCoat coating provides a high carbide particle density for use in extreme wear applications.
Designed for use in extreme wear applications, Lund Precision Products' BrazeCoat coating is a dense, low porosity hardfacing material with a high carbide particle density to help extend the wear life of metal parts.
- Available as a thin, 0.002 in., or thick, 0.1000 in. or more, coating
- Features carbide densities up to 70% by volume
- Involves combination of metallic matrix with fine particles of either tungsten carbide or chromium carbide metallurgically bonded to base metal
- Resistant to abrasive wear in high impact applications
- Obtains hardness values over 65 Rockwell C
- Various formulations available to meet application and customer requirements
- Applications include agricultural and material handling equipment, machine parts as well as mining and construction
