Meese Orbitron Dunne Co. (MOD), Ashtabula, OH, introduces a rotomolded fuel tank that has earned EPA and CARB (California Air Resources Board) certification for fuel vapor permeation from tanks.
- Meets Title 40: Part 1060 for fuel vapor permeation from tanks in watercraft, recreational vehicles, lawn and garden equipment and other non-road and stationary equipment
- Includes two layers of polyethylene separated by a barrier layer of ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH)
- Replaces cumbersome, five- and seven-layer plastic fuel tanks
- Streamlined design complies with regulations yet may be manufactured more quickly and at reduced cost
- Features rotational molding in a single piece
- Offers impact strength versus metal tanks and eliminates their potential for leaks at welds, seams and fastening points
- May be custom designed and rotomolded to fit nearly any size, shape or space
