Trelleborg has launched an O-Ring Calculator app to help determine the correct O-Ring dimensions and tolerances for individual applications.
Trelleborg Sealing Solutions announces the release of the O-Ring Calculator app. The app calculates O-Ring dimensions and tolerances, and recommends sizes and Trelleborg Sealing Solutions part numbers.
- Enter bore or rod/shaft diameter and receive an O-Ring recommendation and O-Ring housing calculation according to recommendations of ISO 3601
- Searches selection of O-Ring nominal sizes according to ISO 3601, JIS B 2401 (Japan), SMS 1586 (Sweden)
- Calculates O-Ring tolerances according to ISO 3601-1 Class B
- Switches between metric measurements and inches
- Determines which materials are compatible with media used in specific application
- Searches Trelleborg Sealing Solutions films
- Available in English and German free from iTunes or via the Apple App Store on the iPhone and iPod Touch
