Goodrich Corporation introduces its smallest shortwave infrared (SWIR) camera. The GA640C-15A is smaller, lighter and uses less power than many other SWIR cameras on the market today.
- Offers a volume less than one cubic inch, weighing 26 g without its lens
- Consumes 1.5 watts of power
- Well suited for imaging systems where size, weight and power consumption must be minimal
- Features 640 x 512 pixel resolution with a 15-micron pitch
- Camera Link digital output provides plug-and play, 12-bit imagery for viewing, digital processing and transmission
- Uncooled SWIR detects images in real-time video (30Hz), daylight to low light, through smoke, haze and fog conditions
- Operates without temperature stabilization using non-uniformity corrections (NUC) parameterized over temperatures
- Provides on-board automatic gain control (AGC), for hands-free operation
- Operates from 0.9 to 1.7 micron spectral range
- Optional near infra-red (NIR) camera model extends spectral response to include range from 0.7 to 1.7 microns
- Works in temperature range from -35 C to 71 C
