TCD 6.1 L6 Water-Cooled Engine

DEUTZ AG introduces the water-cooled TCD 6.1 L6, a six-cylinder in-line engine that is part of DEUTZ's range of engines designed to meet Tier 4 Final/Stage IV emissions standards.

• Covers the 100 to 180 kW (136 to 245 hp) power range with maximum torque of 1,000 Nm
• Provides 25% increased performance compared with predecessor
• Features turbocharger and charge air cooler and electronically controlled DEUTZ common-rail (DCR) high pressure injection system
• Offers economic efficiency, long engine life and extended servicing intervals
• Produces fuel savings of up to 5% compared with Tier 3, depending on application
• Achieves 50% greater torque values 
• Modular DVERT system, which combines engine and exhaust gas technologies, enables emissions compliance
