MAN D3876 In-Line Diesel Engine

At bauma, MAN introduced the off-road version of its D3876 diesel engine capable of power outputs of 415, 450 and 485 kW.

The MAN D3876 6-cylinder in-line engine has been introduced for on- and off-road applications.

  • Includes top-down cooling, domed valves, steel pistons and fire rings
  • Features common rail injection pressure up to 2,500 bar (36,259.43 psi)

D3876 LF0x on-road version

  • Offers 15.2 L displacement
  • Achieves torques of 2,500-3,000 Nm (1,843.9-2,212.7 ft.-lbs.)
  • Provides power outputs of 382 and 412 kW (520 and 560 hp) for long distance and towing vehicles, and 471 kW (640 hp) for heavy goods vehicles

D3876 LE12x off-road version

  • Applicable for use in construction and agricultural machinery
  • Provides power output of 415, 450 and 485 kW (565, 612 and 660 hp) for forage harvesters, crawler excavators and range of other applications
  • Cutting-edge EGR and SCR technology ensures compliance with Tier 4 Final and CARB U.S. emissions standards, as well as EU Stage V
