Meese, Inc. was founded in 1931 by Edwin W. Meese in Madison, Ind. Meese pioneered the design and development of canvas carts and containers for the laundry industry and was among the first companies to manufacture with fiberglass and polyethylene plastics. In 1993, Meese founded Meese Orbitron Dunne (MOD) as a division of Meese, Inc. after the company acquired rotational molders Orbitron Industries, Delphos, Ohio and Dunne Plastics, Ashtabula, Ohio. Recognized for its design engineering and rotational molding expertise, MOD earned a slate of awards for innovation in product design and development while recording 11 consecutive years of revenue growth.
