Pure Power Releases New Fuel, Air and Emissions Systems Components

During the IAA Commercial Vehicles show, Pure Power released its latest fuel, air and emissions systems components.

Pure Power Technologies LLC has revealed new fuel, air and emissions system components and heavy-metal castings capabilities for the global automotive OEM and aftermarket industries.  At the IAA Commercial Vehicles 2012 show, the company introduced an advanced hot-side EGR control valve and intake throttle for diesel engine makers. The company also showcased its new lost-foam and compacted graphite iron metal casting capabilities, as well as a line of aftermarket engine components for independent automotive distributors.

“The Hannover IAA show is the perfect showcase for our comprehensive offerings for global automotive OEMs and aftermarket distributors,” says Houman Kashanipour, president, Pure Power Technologies. “From our deep line of engine and aftertreatment components and systems to our large foundry capacity, our ability to partner with automotive leaders at any level is unmatched in the industry.”

Headquartered in the United States, Pure Power Technologies vertically integrates research and development, engineering and manufacturing capabilities to produce the most advanced commercial engine components and systems for global automotive markets.

Diesel EGR valves

Pure Power Technologies’ patented hot-side valve technology utilizes advanced electronic actuation for precise and efficient air management in diesel engines. As a result, engine OEMs benefit with high-performance, high-efficiency and low diesel emissions. It is the only EGR valve fully integrated with onboard diagnostics systems.

Metal castings

Pure Power Technologies recently added ductile iron lost foam casting and compacted-graphite iron processing capabilities to its foundry operations. Lost foam casting can produce near net shapes without cores, provide the opportunity to combine assembled components, and produce efficiencies that save machining cost and cut turnaround times. Compacted-graphite iron yields castings that are stronger than traditional gray iron castings but are significantly lighter. Further, the company has added significant capacity among its two foundries.

Aftermarket

With over 20 million fuel injectors produced, Pure Power Technologies offers advanced common-rail fuel system components for independent aftermarket distributors, for a wide range of global fuel standards and emissions requirements. The company’s fuel system technologies deliver the highest injection pressure in the industry for improved optimized fuel/air mixtures.
