ExxonMobil has announced that it will be hosting a series of Mobil Serv Moments, which are short, educational seminars, at this year’s MINExpo INTERNATIONAL 2021 tradeshow in Las Vegas, NV, from Sept. 13-15. Held at the company’s booth (28221-S), these sessions are led by Mobil lubricants experts and cover four main topics:
- The future of digital asset and maintenance management technology: Working with Redlist, the team will profile Mobil Serv Asset Management, a first-of-its-kind digital asset management platform.
- Lubrication: An underutilized efficiency lever: Highlights how lubrication strategy can help mines improve energy efficiency and fuel economy, to help meet their sustainability goals.
- Maintenance strategies to lower your cost per ton: Proven strategies to help optimize maintenance service intervals – sometimes beyond OEM recommendations – and help improve reliability, helping save mines time and money.
- A new oil built for the rigors of the mining industry: The Mobil team will preview Mobil Delvac Ultra 5W-40 Extended Performance, a new diesel engine oil for haul trucks designed specifically to meet the rigors of the pit that offers protection for as long as 2,000 hours.

In addition to hosting the Mobil Serv Moments sessions, ExxonMobil will also be previewing Mobil Delvac Ultra 5W-40 Extended Performance, a new diesel engine oil, at the show. This new oil is specifically designed for the mining industry, delivering optimized viscosity to better protect engines and longer life to help extend oil drain intervals. As a result, this oil can help mines improve haul truck reliability and engine life, optimize preventative maintenance schedules, increase truck availability, and reduce costs.
