DEUTZ AG is celebrating a special anniversary at this year's bauma. In 2013 the Cologne-based engine manufacturer is delivering its 500,000th engine to its long-standing partner Atlas Copco.
Compressors, gensets, construction equipment and mining equipment – the portfolio of applications for DEUTZ engines in Atlas Copco products is very diverse. In addition to the main Atlas Copco brand, DEUTZ also supplies other well-known companies in the group such as Dynapac and Chicago Pneumatic in China. The various applications make use of virtually the entire DEUTZ product range. Almost all power outputs of DEUTZ engines, both water- and air-cooled, are represented here. Around the world, there is very high number of engines in use for small compressors and gensets in the power output range up to 56 kW. The future of this long-standing and successful partnership remains secure as tighter standards come into force.
