Webb Wheel Products' OEM Business Unit has recently been honored by Great Dane Trailers as the first winner of the company’s Supplier of the Year Award in the large vendor category. Great Dane inaugurated the Supplier of the Year Award in 2013 establishing criteria to score their top 100 suppliers for the recognition each year.
The OEM Business Unit of Webb Wheel located in Tell City, IN, supplies hubs and brake drums to Great Dane. They were among the top fourteen in the large vendor category to score above 90% from initial surveys conducted at each of Great Dane’s eight manufacturing facilities. Webb subsequently compiled the highest grade as the finalists were rated for their overall product quality, competitive pricing, timely shipments, accuracy of shipments, packaging, response to problems, cooperation on returns and technical assistance.
Webb Wheel has manufactured truck and trailer wheel end components for more than 60 years with a history of innovation, quality, dependability and reliable customer service. Today, the company produces hubs and drums, as well as spoke wheels and rotors in the U.S. at their state of the art Tell City, IN, facility completed in 2005. Products are developed, tested, manufactured and shipped to the highest standards as reflected in the Great Dane award.
