Eaton Corp. announces the availability of the company's two-speed steering option on Series 10 Steering Control Units (SCU) intended for heavy-duty construction and agricultural equipment. Eaton's Char-Lynn two-speed technology provides two metered modes, which are operator-selectable at any time with the touch of a button or the flip of a switch.

One mode for normal high-speed roading and fail-safe emergency steering in case of power loss
Second Quick steering mode can be customized to OEM's specifications to achieve as much as a four-to-one ratio
4,000 psi pressure rating
Both steering modes intuitive
