Hemisphere GPS announces the release of its S320 GNSS survey receiver, XF1 data collector and survey software. S320 combines the GNSS receiver performance of Hemisphere GPS’ Eclipse II technology, precise geodetic antenna, wireless communication and batteries all in a portable, rugged unit with matching data collector.

  • Compatible with a variety of existing surveying equipment
  • For applications in GIS, construction, mapping, land and marine surveying
  • Available as basic low cost SBAS L1 GPS receiver, with option to enable full GNSS support and L-Band corrections
  • Features transmit and receive capabilities
  • UHF 400 MHz or Spread Spectrum 900 MHz internal radio eliminates need for cables on both base and rover installations
  • Internal GSM/GPRS modem enables use as rover for network RTK, eliminating hassle of external modems and cables
  • XF1 data collector connects via Bluetooth and through Carlson SurvCE software provides familiar and proven interface to surveyor
  • SureTrack technology ensures use of every satellite it is tracking for RTK solutions, even satellites not tracked at base
  • Provides fewer RTK dropouts in congested environments and faster re-acquisitions
  • Offers more robust solutions due to cycle slip detection and ability to process GNSS data from various manufacturers
  • Even if base supports only GPS, SureTrack will process GLONASS signals at rover to deliver complete GNSS performance
  • SD card slot behind battery door allows users to safely log large amounts of monitoring data, static observation data and extended survey projects on included 2GB memory card
  • Auto level sensor alerts users visually and via text message when receiver is no longer level
  • Uses HQ asset tracking software to track location from anywhere in world
  • Dual Bluetooth ports offer ability to connect data collector at same time as another external device such as CDMA modem or mobile phone
  • SMS messaging enables remote communication on indicators such as battery status, signal strength and position
  • Receives text messages of site ID and height of instrument
