HR Series Thumbwheel

APEM Inc. announces the release of its HR Series Thumbhwheel.

• Uses non-contacting Hall-effect technology to provide highly repeatable linear voltage output
• For integration into joystick handles and control grips
• Optimizes ergonomics and efficiency of control systems
• Feature spring to center mechanism
• Ergonomically designed for precision finger-tip control, making it well suited for repeated operations over long periods
• Offers excellent proportional control, stable output, low noise and long life
• Can be used in panel mount applications as well as joystick integration
• Operates with a 5V DC power supply
• Available with one of six output options
• Operating temperature ranges from -30 to 70 C
• Features return-to-center tolerance of +/-200mV
• Electrical connections are provided via a 140 mm 28AWG wire harness fitted with a seven-pin Molex connector on the device for easy installation
• Low profile design measuring only 18.25 mm above panel
• Arching wheel design provides one axis of forward and backward movement
• Utilizes two screws for easy rear panel mounting, and measures only 8.95 mm below panel
• Wide range of configuration options available including wheel color, actuator style and LED backlighting
