HAWE Hydraulik has expanded its MICK control block series with the introduction of a new, more compact size 2. This addition follows the market launch of the larger size 3 and is designed for mobile machinery applications such as smaller spider platforms and aerial work platforms where sequential function control is required.
HAWE Hydraulik
The MICK control block integrates a 4/3 directional control valve with a directly flanged switch, combining the functionality of what would typically require three separate control blocks into a single section. This design allows one valve section to supply up to three double-acting consumers. The modular system allows for the combination of up to eleven valve sections to suit various machine configurations.
Features & Specifications
- Available Sizes: Size 2 (new) and Size 3
- Flow Rate (Size 2): Up to 60 L/min per consumer
- Flow Rate (Size 3): Up to 120 L/min per consumer
- Control: CAN bus control for all main and auxiliary functions
- Base Technology: Based on the HAWE PSL load-sensing directional spool valve
- Safety: Features an integrated hydraulic safety circuit with two redundant shut-off paths to separate cylinder groups and prevent unintended simultaneous actuation of mast and support functions.
The control block is based on HAWE's PSL directional spool valve, which controls volume flow steplessly and independent of the load. According to the company, its design results in low pressure loss, offering an energy-efficient control solution suitable for machine electrification projects. The integrated CAN bus control supports automation of both main and auxiliary functions, while the built-in safety circuit helps machine designers meet modern safety requirements.
