Hyundai, a leading European manufacturer of heavy equipment for the construction market, is leveraging its industry knowledge to provide flexible financing solutions through Hyundai Finance. By offering operational leases for three machines in Germany, Hyundai is proactively responding to the growing market demand for usage-based financing.
Since 2012, Hyundai Finance has provided financing solutions via Hyundai’s collaboration with DLL, one of the world’s leading providers of asset-based financial solutions.
“At Hyundai, our focus is on providing our customers the most innovative and quality construction and materials handling machines. We want to eliminate the burden often associated with financing and enable our customers to focus on running a smooth operation,” says Frank Frickenstein, Regional Manager, Germany at Hyundai.
DLL Account Manager Michael Brardt adds, “Although the economic climate is slowly recovering, many customers still lack liquidity to finance equipment themselves, so they look for external funding that enables flexibility. This can be especially valuable for customers when they are considering sourcing for specific projects. We are pleased that through our partnership with Hyundai we can offer customers customized financing solutions that meet their individual needs.”
Hyundai Finance offers customers flexibility via operational leases, which enable end users to have access anytime to the latest versions of equipment without the hassle of ownership. End users simply pay a fixed amount per month for usage and then have the option to extend the lease, purchase the equipment for a fair market price, return it, or upgrade it at the end of the lease.
Although usage-based business models are gaining ground within the construction industry, many customers remain unfamiliar with how they can benefit from this type of financing. Hyundai is committed to educating its customers and is actively marketing this solution at bauma 2016 for orders placed on or before June 30 for the following machines: Hyundai Wheel loader HL970, Hyundai Wheeled excavator HW140 and Hyundai Crawler excavators HX220.
