- Fixed caliper type brake uses modulated hydraulic pressure source (i.e., master cylinder) to control brake torque
- Two ductile iron caliper halves pressurized by single inlet port cross-over tube feature
- 2.25-in. dia. piston in each half
- Continuous duty pressure: 1,000 psi; intermittent duty pressure: 1,500 psi
- Weighs approximately 17 lbs
- Total lining contact area is 12.4 sq. in., usable lining thickness of 0.32 in. on each side
- Linings can be replaced without removing brake
