520 Series hydraulic apply caliper disc brake

MICO, Inc. offers the 520 Series hydraulic apply caliper disc brake for on and off-highway service braking applications.

• Fixed caliper type brake uses modulated hydraulic pressure source (i.e., master cylinder) to control brake torque
• Two ductile iron caliper halves pressurized by single inlet port cross-over tube feature
• 2.25-in. dia. piston in each half
• Continuous duty pressure: 1,000 psi; intermittent duty pressure: 1,500 psi
• Weighs approximately 17 lbs
• Total lining contact area is 12.4 sq. in., usable lining thickness of 0.32 in. on each side
• Linings can be replaced without removing brake
