Marathon Brake announces the release of a premium-grade brake lining rated for 20,000 lb. axle loads, HeatStar20. Part of Marathon's flagship HeatStar line, HS20 is a versatile, high performance brake lining designed for a wide range of over-the-road hauling applications.

  • Provides long service life 
  • Lowers cost per mile and reduces overall brake maintenance costs
  • Meets federal regulations for brake effectiveness, fade and recovery in accordance with FMVSS 121 test procedure
  • Hi-Density friction formulation improves ability to efficiently handle heat by holding more heat energy and allowing more efficient heat dissipation
  • Provides a stronger structural integrity, making less likely to crack and improving resistance to brake fade and water fade
