OTR Wheel Engineering announces it has earned Kubota Manufacturing of America’s (KMA) prestigious Kaizen Award for continual improvement. This is OTR’s first time to earn this award from KMA for years of hard work and improvements in supporting KMA’s manufacturing operations in Gainesville, GA.

Making the award presentation was Henry Kubota (President of KMA and Kubota Industrial Equipment [KIE]).  The award was received during KMA’s Supplier Communication Meeting on May 2. Receiving the award for OTR Wheel Engineering were Larry Szeliga (COO) and Lee Chestnut, OTR’s Gainesville, GA facility manager.

Receiving the award is a real honor for OTR and reflects highly on all the personnel involved with the KMA program at OTR Wheel Engineering. Jeff Williams, Vice President of Sales and Marketing says, “This award is very special to OTR and the Gainesville facility as it means that Lee Chestnut and his team are very conscious of continuous improvement. OTR Wheel Engineering is working to instill this concept throughout the company as it builds our 'Striving for Excellence' theme. Congratulations to Lee and the Gainesville, GA team for all their fine work.”
