CeTrax mid
ZF complements its portfolio of electrification solutions for commercial vehicles with two electric central drives, the CeTrax lite and CeTrax mid all-electric plug and drive solutions.
- Features integrated design in which electric motor, power electronics and transmission form compact unit with shared housing
- Power electronics do not need to be wired separately with electric motor
- Compact design, enabling flexible installation in existing vehicle platforms, eliminating need for major changes to chassis or axles by vehicle manufacturers
- Equipped with electric components used in the tried-and-tested central axle drive that ZF produces for passenger car applications, offering economically attractive solutions for commercial vehicle manufacturers
- Mechanical components are all developed using requirements of commercial vehicle operation, including housing with optimized components and mounting points
- Standard axles with current ratios can still be used in combination with both drives
CeTrax lite
- Electric asynchronous traction motor offers peak power performance of 150 kW and torque of 380 Nm
- Provides performance equal to conventional units in its segment
- Module is a fully integrated system, housing electric motor as well as 1-speed transmission stage and power electronics
- Weighs around 120 kg
- For use in delivery vans, light commercial vehicles up to 7.5 tons
CeTrax mid
- Features two electric asynchronous traction motors in a parallel design
- Ensures powerful acceleration for vehicle weights of up to 19 tons
- Peak performance lies at 300 kW
- Two- stage powershift transmission produces torque of 760 Nm
- Once again, fully integrated design allows easy installation in the vehicle
