Oerlikon Fairfield brings new technology

Dan Phebus, Head of Business Unit - Americas, Oerlikon Fairfield, discusses the company's latest technology launch of a series electric hybrid driveline. "We have the genset and auxiliary drive for hydraulic features on the machine. We have the electric wheel ends in the package. We have an energy storage system, dual inverters to drive the power electronics, and most importantly we have the transmission control unit and the software that brings the engine and the wheel together."
