Optronics International announces the release of a family of 4 in. (10.16 cm) round LED stop, tail, turn and back-up lamps.

- Light Guide uses technique similar to fiber optic design in which LED light is precisely channeled to create shapes and patterns that were previously unachievable in commercial vehicle lighting
- 12-diode lamps
- Provides smoothly lit horizontal, x-shaped feature in center of lens, surrounded by more traditional LED pattern
- Flexibility of Light Guide technology allows symbols, text and logos to all be potential design features that can be incorporated into future lamps
- Available in flange-mount and grommet-mount versions
- Can be purchased with standard PL-3 or Weather Tight terminations, allowing them connection to existing harness systems for easy retrofitting
- Meets all FMVSS 108 photometric requirements for visibility and safety
- Lenses and housings are made of tough polycarbonate material that is sonically welded
- Employs solid-state, surface-mount device (SMD) design that protects electronics against moisture, shock and vibration
