Electrum announces the release of its Safety Cabin Module (SCM) I/O board.

Responsible for sampling analog and digital data from various sensors and switches
Designed for board-to-board connection using two HAR-flex 50p connectors for easier integration
Presents collected data on CANbus in safe manner
Measures 95 x 50 mm (3.7 x 2.0 in.)
Holds 52 analog or digital inputs, 20 PWM outputs
Standard CAN protocol is 29 bit J1939 based with additional safety measures
Hardware support for CAN 2.0A, 2.0B and FD up to 5Mbit/s
Supports PLd using a Category 3 HW structure
Popular applications include armrest and joystick assemblies, dash panels, remote control stations
Can be driven from a single 9-32V DC power supply
