On August 3, 2011, Juniper Engines Inc. legally changed its name to Westport Light Duty Inc. There has been no change in ownership and this was only a simple change in name. Westport Light Duty Inc. and the Westport LD corporate brand better reflect our growing company and expanding businesses. We now offer much more than engines as our compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquid petroleum gas (LPG) automotive and industrial offerings include integrated vehicle solutions, engines, fuel systems, components and more. Juniper will continue as a product brand for the powerful, reliable and durable engines sold into the marketplace today.
