Maxima Technologies & Systems, LLC, a full-service global electronics and software company that specializes in precisely engineered standard vehicle instrumentation, controls, components and systems for severe-duty applications, has named John Buck as President.

Buck, who has more than 30 years of experience in sales, marketing and operations, possesses a deep understanding and appreciation for building and maintaining customer relationships. Before assuming the role as President at Maxima, Buck was Business Development Leader for the Engineered Solutions Segment at Actuant Corp, which owns Maxima. As Business Development Leader, he oversaw the segment’s organic growth and identified key acquisition targets, including Weasler Engineering, that were successfully integrated into the company. Previously, he worked in a variety of roles for Eaton Corporation, supporting global OEM customers in sales, operations and general management.

“I focus on building strong, long-term customer relationships,” Buck says. “I intend to spend time getting to know our customers and learning how Maxima can provide custom-engineered solutions that surpass our customers’ expectations and help them succeed.”

Buck has a bachelors degree from Georgia State University and a masters degree from the University of Chicago.
