IFPE 2014 Issues Call for Abstracts

The 2014 edition of IFPE is looking for abstracts from industry educators, engineers and more who are interested in presenting on new technologies during the conference's educational programs.

Industry educators, engineers, researchers and scientists have an ideal opportunity to share their knowledge with peers worldwide during the IFPE 2014 exposition: IFPE has issued a "call for abstracts" for presentations in its signature education programs. The programs deliver critical information on new power transmission and motion control technologies for engineers and others involved in the design and manufacturing process.

Deadline is June 6 to submit abstracts for the opportunity to give a technical or application presentation at IFPE 2014.

IFPE is the leading international exposition and technical conference dedicated to the integration of fluid power with other technologies for power transmission and motion control applications, held every three years. The next IFPE will be held March 4 to 8, 2014 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, co-located with the CONEXPO-CON/AGG exposition for the construction industries.

The IFPE Technical Conference focuses on new technologies and methods related to improved analysis, design, manufacture and performance of fluid power components and systems for mobile and industrial markets. Conference proceedings will be published and available at the conference.

The IFPE Innovations Theater examines real-world solutions for current and future design applications.

And IFPE's college-level courses offer hands-on technical knowledge on fluid power and hydraulics.

Topic areas for IFPE 2014 education include fluids (including new and "green"); fluid power systems; fluid power in renewable energy applications; basic components; controls and control systems; auxiliary components related to fluid power; seals and sealing technology; analysis, modeling and simulation; noise and vibration (analysis, measurement, control); materials and manufacturing (including new and "green"); impact of Tier 4 and beyond; and standards (industry, national, international).

"IFPE is a must-attend event for engineers and other industry professionals who want a convenient and information-packed resource of 'what's new' and best practices in fluid power, motion control and power transmission as it relates to their work. In one place they can tap the knowledge of international experts and examine the latest product innovations on the show floor," states Melissa Magestro, IFPE show director.
