Power management company Eaton announces that its JES/XCEL 45 localized steering product has received a 2014 Gold Award from the China Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers (CAAMM). The units provide machine operators with smooth, reliable steering, and engineers with a variety of configurations, including open center, load-sensing capabilities and six integrated valve options.
The Gold Award is a top honor in the Chinese agricultural machinery supplier industry. Eaton’s JES/XCEL 45 steering product was selected following three months of evaluations by industry experts and a recommendation from Foton, a leading Chinese agricultural machinery original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
“This award highlights Eaton’s top-notch hydraulics design and manufacturing capabilities in China, as well as application engineering and customer support,” says Howard Liu, President of Eaton’s Hydraulics business in Asia Pacific. “The Gold Award recognition sets Eaton apart by reinforcing our high quality and performance, particularly with the JES/XCEL 45 steering unit.”
More than 200 of the top Chinese agricultural machinery manufacturers attended the Annual Agriculture Machinery Parts Summit on August 5 in Weifang, Shandong, where agriculture segment manager Julie Zhu presented Eaton with the Gold Award and application engineering leader Lv Ming Fu introduced Eaton business and technology in China.
