Over the past few months, Dana has made several strong moves in the market.
In January, the company announced it had acquired SME Group, enhancing its electromobility capabilities.
In March, Dana completed its purchase of Oerlikon Drive Systems segment, further expanding its product offerings, as well as its manufacturing presence in growth markets.
Just a week later, Dana entered a strategic partnership with Hyliion Inc. to incorporate Dana’s conventional and e-Propulsion system expertise.
At bauma 2019, Dana introduced two new electric drivetrain solutions, the Spicer Electrified e-Axle and e-Gearbox.
Dana aims to position itself to be energy-source agnostic to support its customers across drivetrain configurations, including electrodynamic components that accelerate the adoption of electrification through the introduction of technologies specifically selected to meet the needs of current vehicle architectures.
