AxleTech International, a global engineering and manufacturing company for heavy-duty drivetrain systems and components headquartered in Troy, MI, announces that Dan Chien has joined the company as Vice President of OE Business Development.
Chien is an executive leader with extensive global experience in product development, operational management, and business development. In his new role, Chien will have global responsibility for OE business development for both commercial and defense segments.

Chien most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Product Development at AM General. He also held executive positions at General Dynamics, and served as Vice President of Engineering and Quality at AxleTech from 2006-2011.
Chien holds an engineering degree from the University of Iowa, a Master degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan, and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University.
