Marathon Brake Systems now offers OEM-quality brake shoes, which are available lined and in kits with mounting hardware.
- Electro-deposition coating (E-coating) prevents rust jacking
- Environmentally tested to withstand 1,000 hours of salt spray exposure
- Manufactured from thicker, high-grade carbon steel to ensure maximum life and safety
- Seam-welded along entire table/web seam for added strength and durability
- Provides uniform, balanced braking performance and prevents "hot spots," which can shorten friction material life
- Available with Hi-Density friction materials riveted onto brake shoe
- Shoe kits also available, which include hardware kit with lined shoes
- Stainless steel bushings, heat-treated and zinc-chromate coated rollers and powder-coated springs in hardware kits are rust resistant and improve reliability of brakes
- Heavy-duty springs are certified to 125 ft/lbs. of resistance and tested to 1,000,000 cycles
