Bossard Group Completes Acquisition of Intrado AG

On May 28, 2013 the Bossard Group completed the acquisition of Intrado AG in Hünenberg, Switzerland, from Jacob GmbH in Kernen, Germany, first announced on February 12, 2013.

The company has served the Swiss industry with a wide range of electrical engineering products for over 25 years and is a general importer for the Jacob GmbH cable glands program. In 2012, Intrado AG reached a turnover of CHF 3.2 million with 10 employees.

With the acquisition of the company Intrado AG, Bossard will be complementing its own range of fastening components for the electrical engineering industry, as well as strengthening its competence and expertise in a field that requires intensive consulting. The company Jacob will also have the opportunity to distribute its products globally via Bossard.
