Oerlikon’s Drive Systems Segment, with its brand Oerlikon Graziano, will participate at Bustec 2015, the China International Bus Technology Exhibition, in Shanghai from May 27 to 29, at SNIEC, Hall E1 – Booth 2081. The participation at Bustec is an important joint activity with the Chinese partner CVC to promote the brand image and to present the products developed for the bus market in China.
Oerlikon’s Drive Systems Segment today is considered a “global drive systems provider” and a preferred partner for the design, testing and manufacturing of drive solutions. The low floor city bus market is growing in China and the company will present at Bustec its range of drive axle systems for city bus applications, together with its Chinese partner CVC. The collaboration between the two firms started two years ago; being an important local partner, CVC is the right channel to promote the axles to the right market, thanks to more than 20 years’ service experience in the bus market, and a strong network with the fleet companies and bus OEMs as well.
The brand Oerlikon Graziano is well known for its bus axles that are robust, reliable and with a high performing design improved and consolidated through more than 20 years of development and application to thousands of city buses running in Europe. Easy maintenance and serviceability and low noise level are other important features very appreciated by the customers.
Bustec 2015 will exceed an exhibition area of 42,000 square meters and gather experts from over 20 countries and regions. More than 300 companies, nearly 15,000 overseas visitors and consumer groups will be attracted to visit Bustec 2015 with a larger scale, more exhibitors and more comprehensive display range. The joint participation at Bustec betweeen Drive Systems and CVC will enhance the brand awareness in the Chinese market and is a very good opportunity for the two companies to check concrete opportunities from the fleet companies and bus OEMs.
